A. what is the IETP (& BEC)?

We aim to act as a leading body for a group of British Higher Education colleges & universities that are authorised and approved by the relevant education authorities in the UK. We are an international provider known in the UK as the International Education & Training Partnership (IETP).

The IETP is currently preparing to introduce a number of British Education Centres (BEC) at various international locations mostly within countries/regions across the Middle East and North Africa.

As from January 2010, our programmes will consist of English language Studies, as well as foundation/introductory studies in Dentistry, Pharmacology, Software Engineering, Commutations, Management, Marketing & Business and in Financial & Accountancy studies. We aim to enable our learners to progress into National (middle/higher) Diplomas, as well towards achieving Bachelor Degree levels.

B. what are the benefits for BEC students in your region(s)?

1) Study in your country, whilst at home and/or in your employment and benefit your local economy
during and after studying with BEC
2) Achieve a recognized British qualification/degree from a known UK university or college, and you may
continue in the UK at any time, if you wish (subject to compliance with UK visa requirements/immigration rules).
3) Save on the costs of living away from family/home and pay only for the cost of education (up to 70% savings in
costs when compared with studying and living in the UK )
4) Access a highly developed British education environment in your own country, whilst benefiting from
interacting with English speaking and highly qualified staff on daily basis.
5) Enjoy access to high quality & modern education, and develop skills relevant to your local community,
employers' needs and to potential regeneration plans in your country (become effective in your labour market).

BEC supports local cultures, promotes equality to all and upholds good religious beliefs. We fully understand the need to adhere to related regulations & educational standards of the UK, as well as support local requirements.

C. What will the IETP do through its BEC institutes both in the UK and abroad?

1) BEC will oversee the management & training of all staff within each institute, develop all curriculum, offer
examinations and will introduce regular inspection & observation programmes in line with the requirements of its
partner universities/colleges and/or its accreditation provider in the UK. We will ensure that each candidate who
fully completes an accredited BEC programmes will secure an internationally recognized qualification, which will
be issued and authorized from the UK. At any time, a BEC student may request for our support in applying for the
continuation on a programme of study, at any university or college in the UK, providing that he/she meets the
visa requirements of the British Embassy in his/her country of origin and does fulfill the targeted
university/college's criteria for securing an academic offer.

2) the IETP will make available professional and skilled UK staff to oversee the day-to-day management and
administration of each BEC centre in your region(s). The BEC Centre will comprise of both British and other
competent lecturers, all of whom must be highly qualified and skilled in the provision of higher education, of
excellent character and to have professional reputation in fields of adult education & training services.

3) the IETP and the nominated BEC investor in any region will reach an agreement based on being capable and
qualified to develop quality adult education environments. This is by ensuring appropriate running structures
take full responsibility for students' recruitment, registration and the collection of fees on behalf of the IETP/British
partners.

The BEC investor in any region will fully support British & local staff in each institute, resource prestigious and
safe premises, as well as fully support all UK inspections/observations, procedures, marketing/promotional
strategies, etc. He/she will also hold a membership from the UK based on continuing to adhere to all agreed
requirements/high standards. The IETP will always aim to create environments conducive to students' learning,
staff development and to raising aspiration/prosperity within our local community.
