Al-Faraheedi Schools in Partnership with The British Education Centre & Solicare International in Basra, Iraq

The International Education & Training Partnership (IETP) is pleased to announce that during 2009 it has entered into agreement with one of Iraq’s most recommended providers of private education within the Basra province of Iraq. Al-Faraheedi Schools has been nominated as a representative of quality higher education as will be designed and introduced by the IETP in the UK. Al-Faraheedi will also work in partnership with the British Education Centre and Solicare International towards the establishment of the Iraq International University for Sciences & Technology (IIUST).

Through the on-going guidance, support and consultations from specialist in the fields of higher education in the United Kingdom, the IETP will work with its UK partners and affiliates (including the British Education Centre & Solicare International) and with Al-Faraheedi Schools in Basra to enable the launch of quality Foundation Programmes from October 2009. All programmes will aim at enabling local students to subsequently pursue undergraduate studies in fields of:



Working towards the accreditation of recognised academic institutes, bodies and higher education providers in the UK/EC/other, students will be assisted on day-to-day basis to evidence their academic achievements, so that they can potentially seek further career options in their countries or in the UK/other. Successful student may also be offered affiliation/memberships with recognised international bodies relevant to their chosen fields of professions, subject to meeting the requirements of each institute and/or profession.
